Nobody remembers what life was like before The Odyssey Corporation took ownership of the Helios System. Though there are pockets of hope where Odyssey has not yet reached, civilians of Odyssey’s planets live in hazardous squalor, knowing little outside of their work. Others are conscripted to join Odyssey’s Infinity Fleet, where soldiers are cloned hundreds of times, their consciousness passed from copy to copy until it burns away. Those who break free from these oppressive cycles doom themselves to a life on the run, hiding in alleys and finding shelter in the caverns of asteroids. In a Starbreaker campaign, you’ll play as heroes, rebels, or soldiers: trying to make a better life for those around you without drawing the eye of Odyssey.
